25 Fun Homeschool Activities for St. Patrick’s Day

March 18, 2018 By Michelle Knight Leave a Comment

25 St. Patrick’s Day homeschool activities is filled with fun, creative activities to help engage kids in the holiday. St. Patricks Day is open to many fun ideas’. Imaginations run wild with the thought of a leprechaun scampering about creating havoc. At least that is what happens in our home. Most of the day my children make up games, pranks, or traps to catch a leprechaun. Crafts, painting, and making up different ways to trap a “leprechaun” keep the beautiful minds of children interested with no electronics.

Since my children were small I always  try to have a scavenger hunt with fake gold at the end to keep them entertained. On one occasion we wore real big shoes and outlined them in chalk….as if to say a large leprechaun was walking around.

St. Patrick’s Day crafts, games, snacks and any other fun idea is sure to be a hit. We incorporate our homeschool activities for this day to take the shape of imagination. The beauty behind the activities we add into our homeschool day on this holiday try to encompass something for every child.

This holiday holds the opportunity to let imaginations run wild….watch them! Have some fun, make some stuff, eat some snacks and to wrap it all up have the children write a very imaginative story full of adventure.
