My name is Michelle.
I am a homeschool mom and love it. Have been married to my husband for 11 years. We live in the city, but most of our free time is spent gardening, managing a suburban homestead with chickens, ducks, a rabbit, 2 cats and a dog.
Part of the fun on our suburban homestead is finding new ways to save money and lead a self-sustaining lifestyle. Since 2010 I have been a stay at home mom that used to own her own residential cleaning service.
My calling has definitely been my homeschooling my children and raising our wonderful boys’ alongside my husband. When I quit my business to stay home that meant that we would have only one income. My adventures into frugal living began and I have not looked back.
